Do you see that?
That line of gobbledygook that says ‘beg with a p row, stocking-st 21 rows’.
Basically, that means I need to knit another 21 rows. Another 21 rows!
Yes, I’ve managed to notice another little instruction.
I think that what I’m learning is that I need to a) pay attention, b) read patterns through properly before starting and c) not rush into things. Or at least I’m learning that I should learn or that I need to learn. Subtle difference. One that might not be followed up by the positive action that the learning option should inspire.
Oh and if you haven’t had a guess at what it is yet, there’s a wee hint in the bottom of the photo. It’s not a hat!

Ah you knit, how wonderful. My knowledge of knitting is so rudimentary that i could not begin to guess.. c!
Sometimes I knit, but sometimes I knot! Hehe, I’ll keep you posted! Thank you for commenting. :)
It’s the ‘not rush into things’ bit which always gets me. I am SO impatient.
Looking forward to seeing the final product. Knitting is SO cool. (I’m not very good though)
I’m not brilliant but I am learning what projects are within my limits although this one seems to be pushing them a little, mainly the counting! Thank you for stopping by. :)
Love (and recognize all too well) the “subtle” difference in that learning vs. needing to learn thing. If only they were more firmly linked! We could knit a whole new world. :-)
That’s a great idea, knitting a new world, cheaper than a space rocket for sure. Thank you for visiting again. :)
If it’s not a hat, I’m utterly stumped. This sentence “One that might not be followed up by the positive action that the learning option should inspire.” Sounded SO much like me. I’m NOTORIOUS for getting into sewing projects only to realize, halfway through, things I should have known or done at the outset.
Hehe, have a look at the picture in the pattern. I’m glad that I’m not the only one but at least I started and now I just have to keep going. :)
