Murphy’s Law is most perfectly summed up in the old adage ‘Watched Pot Never Boiled’. Never were truer words spoken!
Time is not always fixed, it can be a perception. It can and will pass faster or slower depending on your own expectations. It will pass painfully slowly when you’re trying to get something done quickly. Food that has always been so quick to make will take at least three times longer to prepare when you’ve already got one foot out the door. The computer that fires up immediately will dig its proverbial heels in when you have something to check, download or print in a rush.
Strangely, although time has suddenly slowed to a snail’s pace for whatever you are trying to achieve, it is passing all the faster elsewhere, all around you, as you try to rush.
