Life is Too Short

“Life is too short” is not an excuse to live recklessly; it’s the reason to live thoughtfully.

When I read this in a post from Life from the Trenches, I had to share.  I think there is a prevailing attitude of eat, drink, be merry with a hefty dose of hang the consequences thrown in however there is a big difference between the realisation of the frailty and shortness of our lives and the appreciation.  If we appreciate our lives then it’s about making the most of every day, cherishing every moment and realising that, yes, there will always be consequences to our actions and that we need to live responsibly.

Thank you, Amy, for summing it up so perfectly.
