I am a Little Meadow Flower

Standard

Bright Pink Flower Against Bright Pink Grasses

I am a little meadow flower
Slightly ragged
Barely noticeable
Sometimes called weed
Lost almost
In a field of many blooms
Adding to the beauty
Of the many
But nothing on my own
I take the soil
Whatever’s given me
And make seed
For the future
For whoever follows
That is all
I am a little meadow flower

  1. This reminds us of how small and inconsequential we often feel. It also reminds us of how we all play a part in something beautiful and greater than ourselves and sometimes, that is all we have.

I'd love to know what you think, concrit is especially welcomed on fiction pieces. Thank you.
